Pacific Cruise Ship Terminals, a subsidiary of
Metro Cruise Services, is responsible for managing the World
Cruise Center at Berths 90-93 for the Port of Los Angeles. The facility
is capable of berthing three of the most modern cruise ships in the world
simultaneously. The terminal at Berth 93 has been upgraded and enlarged
to accommodate the largest mega ships currently sailing. This allows for
comfortable and efficient processing for discriminating passengers.
Metro Cruise Services currently
provides stevedoring services for all cruise lines calling Los Angeles.
This includes handling baggage and loading the ships stores and provisions
necessary for a successful cruise. Metro also has the capability
to handle other special requirements for the cruise lines including removing
and installing satellite receivers and other large bulky items requiring the
use of mobile cranes or other special equipment.
